I'm a glass half full kinda gal, fuelled by coffee.  

 

Hi, thanks for taking some time to look around.  If you've made it this far, why not read a little more and I'll tell you of my experience and skillsets.

 

I am a people person and am approachable, collaborative, self-disciplined, enthusiastic, versatile, trustworthy, determined & professional, well that's what my friends tell me - they're so kind.

 

I have over 25 years administrative, team leadership & project management experience, across a vast range of industries including tourism, government, not-for-profit, environment, agriculture, health auditing and health, nutrition & fitness.

 

Here's an overview of the activites that I've been involved in over the years (this is a snapshot - 25 years is a long time!)

 

• business 2 business cold calling

• email marketing

• creating landing pages and products

• successful localised marketing activities for lead generation

• prequalification & converting leads into valued, long-term customers

• event coordination; travel requirements, venue selection, theming, catering, invitations/rsvps, technical requirements, entertainment, speech preparation, running sheets and post even follow up

• development and maintenance of websites - comfortable with embedding HTML

• social media setup and management

• team leadership to foster moral and outputs

• establishing core administrative processes and systems

• rapid understanding of new software

• a trusted advisor, team payer

 

I took a little time off after closing my Boutique Personal Training business to focus on my family, but found I had a restless craving to realise my potential outside the home.  Finding the perfect part time position that was local, challenging and with good people was proving difficult.  

 

And so, the birth of Orange Umbrella.  I start this baby in October 2015 after talking with a friend who need support in his Tennis Coaching business - we did a contra deal for a couple of months just to test the waters and we both found it worked.  Since then I've had a PT from England, an Accountant, Massage Therapist and a National online Business Women's Networking Coach call on me to help them lighten their loads.
